Stainless steel water bottles are recyclable, but they cannot be recycled through curbside collection programs.
Once your curbside recyclables are collected, they go to a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) where they are sorted, crushed, baled, and sent to manufacturers for reuse. However, stainless steel water bottles are intentionally designed to be uncrushable, which means they cannot undergo the typical recycling process at the MRF.
Instead of placing your stainless steel bottle in the recycling bin, it is recommended to take it to a scrap-metal yard for recycling. By keeping your stainless steel bottle until you have other assorted metals to recycle, you can reduce your carbon footprint and make a trip to the scrap-metal yard when you have a substantial collection to recycle.
If a scrap-metal yard is not accessible to you, here are some alternative suggestions for reusing or disposing of your stainless steel bottle:
1. Donate the stainless steel bottles to a thrift store where families in need can utilize them.
2. Utilize the wide-mouthed stainless steel water bottles to keep soup hot for your lunch.
3. Use the bottles to store dry-food mixes like pancake mix for camping trips. Simply add water, shake, and pour the mixture onto a hot skillet.
4. Combine three or more bottles to create a children's ring toss game (or nine or more bottles for a 9-pin bowling set!).
5. Dedicate an old stainless steel water bottle for your pet. Fill it with water and keep it in the car so your pet always has access to water while on the go.
6. Use the stainless steel bottle as a vase for holding fresh-cut flowers. When you don't have flowers, repurpose it for watering your household plants.

Carbonated beverages should be avoided as they can reduce the effectiveness of the sealing. Carbonated beverages can also build pressure inside the bottle and make it dangerous to remove the lid. Beer generally has a lower carbonation level, so this is safe in our growlers, but we do not suggest storing for long periods of time. This will also not maintain the carbonation of the beverage. Highly acidic beverages should be avoided.
All of our metal bottles are made with stainless steel and contain chromium and nickel.
Manna bottles are made from Food Grade 304 Stainless Steel, which is the same material that flatware, cutlery, and food/beverage manufacturing and processing equipment are made from. Our products are FDA Food safe, and are also BPA and lead free.

Stainless steel bottles without any coating are dishwasher safe, if the bottle has any color or graphic applied it is not dishwasher safe unless otherwise marked on packaging. All stainless-steel bottles are not microwave safe. If you wash your cup in dishwasher, there are no health alerts, dishwasher is not safe for the coating, so in the long run the color can start peeling, other than cosmetics defects nothing will happen to it. However we're working on transitioning to dishwasher safe color in the future.
Plastic Tritan bottles are dishwasher safe, if you are unsure if your bottle is Tritan check the bottom of the bottle or contact us. Plastic bottles are generally not microwave safe.
Lids are top rack dishwasher safe.
For stainless steel bottles dish soap and warm water for daily cleaning is ideal. For tough to remove stains or odors fill your bottle ¾ of the way with warm water and add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar, use a bottle brush to scrub bottle thoroughly and rinse. To further clean add 2 or 3 tablespoons of baking soda with warm water and scrub thoroughly.
Remove the silicone seal on the lid and clean both the lid and silicone thoroughly with warm soapy water. If the smell persists submerge the lid and seal in warm soapy water and allow it to soak overnight.
If the smell still persists a new silicone seal may be needed.
Stainless Steel is not rust proof, but it is rust resistant. If you see rust it can be removed by using a mixture of baking soda or vinegar on the rust spot, let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then scrub with a soft sponge or bottle brush. If you can't remove the rust, we encourage you to submit a warranty claim for your bottle.
Unfortunately we cannot change an address once an order has been shipped. You will need to place a new order or reach out to the carrier to have the shipment rerouted.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of your original purchase. If you would like to return a bottle for a refund, please email a request with your original order number in the subject line to customerservice@mannahydration.com. If you’re hearing a rattle in your bottle, it’s due to a small metal disc that sits between the double wall of your bottle and helps create the vacuum insulation. Sometimes the disc becomes dislodged, creating a small rattling sound. This will not affect the quality of insulation or integrity of the bottle. Damage to caps (manufacturer’s defects): If your bottle leaks from purchase or experiences a defect, you may be entitled to a warranty replacement. Our warranty does not cover accidental damage to lids such as dropping, misuse, misplacing your lid, or general wear and tear. We only cover items purchased at authorized retailers, not including off-price locations. Please fill out a warranty request if you think you qualify.
You can test your bottle’s insulation at home with boiling water. Pour boiling water directly into a Manna Hydration bottle, filled up to the neck. Take precautions when pouring the boiling water. Do not hold the bottle in your hand that you are pouring boiling water into. After pouring the boiling water, keep the bottle uncovered. After roughly 5 minutes, touch the outside of the bottle (below the neck). If you feel hot areas on the bottle’s outside, the insulation has been damaged. If you find your bottle is not keeping insulation, click here to see if you qualify for a warranty replacement.
On occasion, the welds around our bottle’s rims can feel rough. If your bottle has a rough or uneven rim, you are eligible for a replacement if the item was purchased from an authorized seller. Please click here to see our warranty requirements and fill out a form if you are eligible.
Manna Hydration provides a limited warranty for defects in materials and craftsmanship for a duration of 365 days from the original purchase. This warranty is applicable when the product is bought from an authorized Manna Hydration dealer or through the official website, mannahydration.com.
It's important to note that Manna Hydration will not honor a warranty claim if there is evidence of excessive wear or misuse of the product. Additionally, any modifications made to the product using third-party materials after manufacturing, such as engraving or monogramming, are not covered under the warranty.
Please keep in mind that the manufacturer's warranty does not cover damage resulting from abuse or normal wear and tear, such as paint finishes, dents from drops, broken glass, broken caps from drops, loss, theft, or failure to follow care instructions (e.g., dishwashing). Manna Hydration reserves the right to request images of the defective product to validate the claim, if necessary.
If a covered defect is found, Manna Hydration will replace the product with the same or a similar item, free of charge, after conducting a visual inspection. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims, so it is advisable to retain your receipts.

Our line of Ranger lids are interchangeable, and our line of Convoy lids are interchangeable. Our Ranger and Convoy lids are also interchangeable. Besides these two models, the rest of our lids are not interchangeable.
