10 Rom Coms to Inspire Your Hydration This Valentine's Day

We’re firm believers that Valentine’s Day isn’t reserved exclusively for couples and doesn’t have to be a day the single people of the world approach with dread. It’s a made-up holiday so why not make up your own rules? One of our favorite ways to get into the romantic mood is to watch a rom com…or better yet, pretend to be in one, a world where the outfits are perfect, the soundtrack is catchy, and love is just around the corner.

Kicking things off strong with 13 Going on 30 (2004) starring Jennifer Garner (Jenna Rink, left), Mark Ruffalo (Matty), Judy Greer (Tom-Tom, right), and Andy Serkis (Richard) in a tale of a dorky tween in the 1980s who wishes to be 30 after her disastrous 13th birthday party. She wakes up and has the life she always dreamed of–but is it really all she ever wanted? Listen, we never said rom coms were logical, but they are fun. 

No matter how old you are, pass “GO” and head right to feeling 30, Flirty, & Thriving with magazine-party-ready coolers and tumblers inspired by Jenna Rink’s perfect match of chic and youthful and Tom-Tom’s “dark mermaid” chicness.

This 1995 adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma strikes all the right rom com notes: a wardrobe app you wish you had, lines you still quote, a surprise leading man, and a cast of stars like Alicia Silverstone (Cher, right), Paul Rudd (Josh), Stacey Dash (Dionne, left), Brittany Murphy (Tai), and Donald Faison (Murray).

Whether you relate to Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) before or after her transformation, we don’t judge (at least not as much as Miranda Priestly)! But maybe take a page from both versions of the character and combine practical and trendy, and even a little cerulean, into your hydration routine.

When Forester Met Renegade, they weren’t sure if they liked each other. One was high-strung and the other was sarcastic but they both liked coffee and road trips and walking through Central Park so something stuck.
