If you’re not following The Real Hiking Viking on his blog and on social media, you are missing out. Jabba is a true adventurer who takes on all of America’s great long-distance trails, documenting his journey as he goes along with pictures and blogs.
His Instagram account @TheRealHikingViking is packed full of images of his experiences. He takes beautiful shots of natures while he’s exploring, but also isn’t afraid to take pictures of his gear, food, workouts, and experiences to show you exactly what it’s like to be someone who spends his life on the trails. If you want to know exactly what it’s like to travel 12,5000 miles on foot, Jabba is the guy you want to follow!
2. Travel
We love Adventurous Kate when it comes to travel. She’s a professional traveler who shares her adventures traveling as a solo female around the world. Her blog is fun, witty, and packed full of interesting insight. Her goal is to teach others how to travel the world safely, easily, and adventurously.
On her Twitter feed @adventerouskate, you’ll find stunning images and tweets with advice that every traveler needs to follow. She talks about everything from purchasing ethically responsible souvenirs to purchasing affordable safari clothes. No matter if you’re interested in heading to Asia, Africa, Europe, South America, or the Middle East, Kate has been there and can help you on your adventure.
3. Cycling
If you love cycling, then you’ll BikePacking.com. This website/blog is all about teaching adventurers how to bike around the world with routes, gear reviews, inspiration, planning idea, stories, news, and events. These bloggers are experts on exploring the far corners of the world via a bike.
And you’ll definitely want to follow them on Instagram @bikepackingcom. Their account has amazing images of bikes all over the globe. If you can get there, BikePacking.com has ridden there. They offer a little bit of everything for the cycling enthusiast.
4. Winter Sports
For the winter sports enthusiasts, there’s SnowsBest.com. This blog has everything you could want on snow travel all over the world including insight into the best products, news, snow falls, ski and snowboard workouts, and family travel. Founded by Rachel Oakes-Ash, this snow blog covers everything you need to know about loving winter.
And you definitely need to follow them on Facebook at Miss Snow It All. They regularly share videos, images, and stories all about winter adventures. You’ll see what it’s like to ski in Japan, survive an avalanche in the Alps, and book a snowboard vacation in New Zealand.
5. Camping
Learn how to camp in every season and every location with Beyond the Tent. This camping blog put together by Ryan Cunningham is all about helping you live life in the outdoors. He offers everything from gear guides to insight into how to backpack with dogs, food recipes, and wilderness first-aid basics. It’s a great site for both beginning and enthusiasts.
On Twitter, @BeyondTheTent offers videos, blogs, and tweets on incredible camping ideas, opportunities, and insight. You’ll learn how to set up camping shows, how to predict the weather, and more.

If water sports are more your jam, check out Léa Brassy Ocean Adventurer. Léa is a surfer and water woman who shares her adventurous spirit on her blog. Her passion takes her to remote places and extreme conditions, and she blogs about it all. She does a little bit of everything from surfing to bodysurfing, spearfishing, and freediving.
